Winter Olympics set; opening event is Tee Ball
GGPO will kick off the 2007 season with it's 2nd annual Winter leg on the weekend of
February 24th-25th. 3 events will be making it's Olympic debut in the Winter leg.
Tee Ball will be this year's opening event as the Ridge Heights Chili Peppers try to
revenge the embarrassing lost they suffered to the Forest Hills Bombers in the 2006
softball event. Bombers captain Neal Gough is hoping Kurt Schreier will once again
play for the Chili Peppers as Neal said Kurt was the key to their softball victory.
Darts, Hungry Hungry Hippos, Beer Pong, and Foosball will all be returning from last
year's winter leg.
Besides Tee Ball, two other events will be making their GGPO debut. Pool and Penny
Guess will be featured in this year's winter leg. The format for pool is this, everyone
gets two chances to get the lowest 3-ball score. The top 16 people with the lowest
score will then make 2 person teams and then play a single elimination 8 ball tourney.
Penny Guess is where you guess how many pennies are in a jar. The closest without
going over gets the gold medal and the jar full of pennies.
On Sunday, the Olympians will take part in bowling for the second year in a row but with
a slight twist. The best 3 game average will still win the gold but the third game is a
crazy bowl while the first two games are still straight up bowling.

Olympics as his event for GGPO 2007
When you achieve the status of Olympian of the year you get to pick an event for the
following year. Boy did Sean Gregory get a little greedy. Instead of picking an event,
Sean wants to install a third leg to the 2007 Olympic calendar, Sean wants a camping
Olympics. More details to follow.
