| The 2005 GoGoPlanet Olympics were undoubtedly a success on Saturday. We started off with Softball and ended with an ice cream cake fight in the Go Go's basement (see pic below). Then Go Go got out the water hose and sprayed everyone. Altogether there was 43 participants in the GoGoPlanet Olympics. Closing ceremonies were held Monday Night at Demos. At Demos we played the 10th and final event of the Olympics, World Class Bowling and enjoyed free tacos. Also on Monday, Scott Carril was named the 2005 Olympian of the Year despite his 15th place finish in the shot put. Scott finished with 3 Golds, 1 Silver, and 2 Bronze. He received the Gold in the last 3 events of the Olympics. He also hit the only home run in the softball game and was originally playing for the Chili Peppers but a last second trade placed him on the Silver Medalist team instead of the Gold Medalist team (So basically, if Scott would of showed up 5 minutes earlier, he would have 4 Gold Medals).
