The question going into the 2006 shot put competition was this: could Derrick Baier win
the shot put for the third year in a row? The answer is no.
Justin Thacker, the raging bald bull, threw his way to gold while Olympic new comers,
Joey Tilk and Tarzan, received silver and bronze respectively. Derrick Baier finished 6th
and his dreams of a three-peat were ruined. Derrick went home Saturday night and
dumped his girlfriend so he can focus on the 2007 Shot Put.
In the women's event, Brandie Sale won the gold medal. Katie Zolman didn't win gold
this year because according to Danny, he sexually satisfied her the morning of the
Olympics, therefore wiping out her secret to the 2006 Shot Put gold: a severe case of
sexual frustration.
Special props go out to Kurt Schreier. Kurt managed to throw the shot put in the woods
for the second year in a row. Way to go you German drunk ass.
